Helena Greenwood and David Paul Frediani: Did he or didn't he?

Helena Greenwood was born in England, but found her home in California. In 1984, she was assaulted in her home, but before she could testify at the trial of the accused, Helena was murdered.

 

David Paul Frediani was connected to sexual assaults in the area and his fingerprints were found at the scene of Helena's rape. Is he the culprit? or is he being framed?
