Normally referred to as 'Darlie Routier', this case has been covered ad nauseum. In the wee hours of June the 6th, 1996, in Rowlett, Texas, someone stabbed Devon and Damon Routier to death, and left their mother, Darlie, bleeding from a slash to her neck and screaming for help from a 911 operator.
Darlie sits on Death Row, convicted of the crime; and her case has been hotly debated for the last 27 years.
Come with me down the rabbit hole and see if YOU can figure out what really happened that night.

In the 1990s, a book and a movie put the death of Danny Hansford on the Cultural Icon Map. But neither medium actually told us very much about Danny and gave only a bit more information about his killer, Jim Williams.
This is the first NPC episode concerning the life of two men who will be forever attached to the title "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".

1956. The investigators get serious about catching the Mad Bomber. They've gone to a criminal psychiatrist. They've started a dialog with him through the news paper. They are looking through MOUNTAINS of paperwork. He will be caught...but, then what? If he's mentally unstable, shouldn't he be given some sort of health care?
Thus begins a look into the legal and mental health system of 1950s America.

It's All Relative
I was listening to a True Crime podcast when the podcaster commented that they had had a problem finding scholarly information about why a person would commit familicide.
A spark flared in my mind, and this podcast was born.
